There were many more generals discussed than ones I personally knew anything about. Readers will appreciate the stark images and heart that permeates the narrative of Safelight. As this book progresses you can see Nolan struggle with his feelings for Lacey. Suddenly Kait's problems go from whether or not she should say the L-word to fears that the murder she's investigating might not be murder at all. The little girl I purchased this for loved it. I am glad that Cassidy is finding herself. The Edge demonstrates skills honed throughout his career and shows a writer in a confident and committed mode.
