This model of psychology is very much more prescriptive than anything in secular counselling, or in many Christian circles, but the authors are consistent in their approach and they have been teaching the material for many years. Shifting the point of view as Dianne Gray does in both Together Apart and Holding up the Earth is not my favorite literary technique, yet she manages it pretty well. Brown's book is informative without being preaching; kind, and encouraging. Will mankind continue to look to the “creation” for answers, or will we finally turn to the “Creator. People ride for different reasons. Cauldron Cooker's Night, the first of what I hope is a long list of similar books from these authors, more than satisfies my requirements and stirs the right attitudes and understandings that my grandkids squeeze from this fantasy setting. This is a spectacular piece of work, the first realistic treatment of the problem in many years.
