RATING: 4 1/2 stars, rounded up to 5 stars where 1/2 stars are not permitted. Picoult knows how to hook a reader and keep them turning pages. This story has good bones, but, just not enough meat on them. a fast moving, tense, emotional story which is a real page turner. All the wild creatures that Louise captures and lovingly observes must go back to their natural habitats by sundown.
