What makes this book an enjoyable read, however, is its droll British humor. Fascinating characters, interesting stories, plenty of action, occasional sex, and deep love between unlikely people. Please, authors, if you are going to tease me with a backstory that formed your main character into his present state, at least tell me that story, get it out in the open, let me understand what caused such an impact on your character and we can move on. This series is a good fit, however, in the scheme of things. This is likely to challenge many sacred cows in a very healthy edifying way. I LOVE ALISA'S BOOKS. In the pages of this book, you will learn how to increase your rate of making very good decisions; how to quickly break down every problem into its basic parts, analyze them and decide on what action or inaction to take. It takes four days for the spell to fully evolve, so Mia; her best friend, Candice; and Chase spend that time romping through truly funny predicaments while desperately seeking to reverse the spell. and I doubt I ever would learn it anyplace else. Hope she grows up in the next book, otherwise I think I have to stop reading this series. There's a solid mystery which I surprised myself by figuring out (though not the whole "why" of it all).

Great book! I read it in high school and never forgot about it. I bought it because my girlfriend never had the opportunity to read any kind of LGBT fiction growing up, and this was definitely a book that made me feel more comfortable in my own skin....
